Quinta da Devesa – Tinto 2010
DOURO 2010 Harvest - Red Wine
Tasting: Clean, slightly intense red colour. Good intense bouquet with hints of berries and a touch of wild berries. Harmonious palate, good acidity tolerance, granting a good structure with a good finish, and big, drying tannins, which enable long aging.
Alcohol: 14,44% Volume: 0,75l
Serving Temperature: 18ºC to 19ºC
Transport: 6 Bottle Box
Located on the corner between the Douro and the Corgo, above Quinta do Vallado, Quinta da Devesa harvest wines are all of intense aroma and flavour, with high degrees of alcohol.
It’s a typical Douro production, where wines grow in an area very dry of shale soil. These are wines that have little or no treatment, where the wooden & intense fruitness aromas, have more to do with the old vines, the grapes and the “terroir”.
