Portuguese Wine Exports Grew 4.5% in the first nine months of 2013
Portuguese wine exports grew 4.5 percent in the first nine months of this year surpassing the 500 million euros.
The data is from the "Instituto do Vinho e da Vinha", who said in a statement that the third quarter of the year was the most favorable of the year, with an increase of 7.4%, driven by exports to outside Europe.
The largest volume of exports is still to European Union countries, situated on 55 percent.
Exports to non-EU countries are left with the other 45 percent of the value.
